AUGUST SUMMER MARKETS & EVENTS

Even though my kids are all grown up now with babies of their own, August still makes me feel that ripple of excitement for the summer holidays.  Long lazy days, eating fish & chips on the beach, swimming (usually at Frinton - our favourite beach) juicy watermelon and strawberry picking which we used to make into jam and turn the kitchen into a sticky mess.

These days I don't have much time for sitting on the beach as there always seems to be fudge to make for one of our lovely markets and events.

The Aldeburgh Carnival is always a busy weekend starting on Saturday 15th and culminating with the actual Carnival on Monday 17th.  We will be there as usual with all our delicious treats for family and friends.

We strongly recommend you pop some of the following foodie festivals or markets into your diary this month for a super delicious day out and here's hoping we will see you there.
